I grew up fishing on the local lakes, rivers and streams, in S.W. PA. With my love for fishing and boating,
I transformed my father's 14' Starcraft into a center counsel that I used in the local lakes and rivers. I purchased my first boat at
the age of 16, it was a 17' Pro-line center counsel. I used that boat to fish the rivers and local lakes, and would trailer it to Cape May NJ
where I would fish near coastal and the inter-coastal water way. I eventually purchased a larger boat a 20' and a 25' Gradywhite
which I used for offshore fishing, and for large fishing tournaments in NJ. I still kept a smaller boat for use here in S.W. PA.
Today, I have a boat docked on the Allegheny River, for which most of my fishing occurs. I am still involved with the ocean waters
of the Atlantic in New Jersey, but focus most on the rich and vast amount of fish species that are in the Allegheny River from which I
grew up and started on.
I opened a bait and tackle shop 7 years ago, with the help of wife, we now carry just about every live bait that is used on the local waters,
and give what ever fishing information that comes our way to our customers. I also use that information and discuss with customers that
also fish on the Allegheny to try to make our outings memorable.
If someone would ask me how long I have been boating and fishing, I will tell them since I was able to walk. My father first got me started on a little
14' Starcraft, and that eventually transpired into a 60' fishing battle wagon used in New Jersey.
Thank You For Reading!!!!! See you out on the water!!!!!
